Waldluft Paintings
Waldluft is the German word for Forest Air.
Based on the idea of experiencing Forest Bathing (also called Shinrin-Yoku in Japanese) indoors, the Waldluft painting series brings a sense of forest air into the home.
These abstract landscapes feature various greens from my signature color palette, painted in oil on canvas. The paintings are part of my Innenwald cosmos. They are kept in a smaller format and work like little windows into the green. By combining several Waldluft paintings, you can grow your own Innenwald (Inner Forest).
The Paintings were exhibited as part of an art installation during the Inner Forest Sanctuary Exhibition in Minnano Gallery, Tokyo Ueno.
